Personal 1-on-1 coaching for your education

Starting in 2022, we offer a valuable addition to your education: personal 1-on-1 coaching. This experienced coach will guide you throughout your studies.

Coaching sessions

You will have three sessions with your coach who will assist you with your studies and help with planning, among other things.

Deep insight and concrete steps

During these sessions, you will gain deep insight into your learning process and be encouraged to take concrete steps.

Structure for achieving learning goals

You will be encouraged to achieve your learning goals in a structured manner.

Collaborating on your future dream

Together with your coach, you will work on realizing your creative and graphic future dream.

 

This course lasts for five months. You attend 1 lesson per week. Each module consists of 4 lessons of 2 hours each. Throughout the course, you will work on several larger assignments, such as designing posters and collages. Therefore, it is advisable to reserve sufficient time outside of the lessons to complete the homework assignments. Consider allocating approximately 3-5 hours per week.

No prior education is required, and experience with the programs or graphic design is not obligatory either. Thanks to personal guidance, students quickly discover their own talents! The only thing needed is a basic knowledge of computer use, such as mastering ‘copy/paste’.

After successfully completing the course, there are various options for further professional development. Deepen your skills with a specialization or take part the conceptdevelopment course. Choose for both deepening and broadening your expertise.

Upon enrollment in the course, you will need to have access to the Adobe programs. However, don’t worry if you don’t already have them. Art and the City offers the opportunity to purchase these programs at a discounted rate exclusively for students enrolled in the course.

Before the first lesson begins, you will receive an email containing comprehensive instructions on how to obtain the Adobe programs at the reduced student rate. This email will guide you through the process, ensuring you have everything you need to get started with the course.

Overall, I think the lessons were really good as well as the teacher. During the 2 hours of lesson, we were taught a lot of things.
